dahlia tuber sale & fundraiserThe short version of the story/situation: Our current wheelchair van no longer suits our needs. It's not safe if (when) Ellie has respiratory emergencies or urgent needs while we're on the road due to the layout of the van and the setup of her ventilator and equipment needs to keep her airway clear at all times. Currently there are two ways we're raising funds for a wheelchair van. 1. donations to Ellie's MiAble account. 2. sale of dahlia flower tubers. (Tubers available November - May) Thanks to an amazing group of people, we were donated over 1,000 dahlia tubers in the spring to help me grow my farm for fundraising for a new van and in the long run to hopefully earn an income. I will sell dahlia tubers and rooted cuttings from my farm Mother Hen Farms. My super awesome friend at TreeTown Homestead has also setup an auction of several varieties including those hard to get your hands on unicorns!!! All funds from dahlias she sells through her page she's donating to Ellie's MiAble account. Message me on Facebook with your order request or to donate dahlia tubers or rooted cuttings to our farm to help support our family now and in the future. https://www.facebook.com/CourtneyStinsonRD/ Tubers can also purchased from or donated to TreeTown Homestead. My super amazing friend has put together an online auction to help our family fund a wheelchair accessible van for Ellie.

AuthorHi I'm Courtney, Ellie's mom. Along with my village I have been raising Ellie (and her big brother Nathan) while learning how to live with and support Ellie's physical disabilities and special needs. It's not easy but our village is amazing. Thank you to all of you who support us, love us, and give hope, send wishes and prayers. We are so incredibly grateful for our community. Archives
